People rarely need an order record until something goes wrong. Starting one costs very little.
At checkout
- Screenshot the order confirmation.
- Note the date and the total you paid.
When it arrives
- Open the parcel soon and check the contents against the order.
- Photograph anything wrong before you throw packaging away.
If you start a return or refund
- Screenshot each status.
- Keep the drop-off receipt or tracking number.
Put everything for each order in one folder, named with the order number, and leave passwords and full card numbers out of it.
